Dale Vanderhoof has been a Kansas Certified Class IV Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator for more than twenty years. He worked for the city of McPherson, KS for almost nine years, operating and maintaining the plant and seven lift stations. Then, for eleven years he was an instructor in the Environmental Technology Department at Salina Area Technical School/College. While there, he became the Department Head, and was nominated for the Kansas Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dale has taught over 3,000 operators, and has been in well over 100 systems, providing training and assistance to many operators in Kansas (and other states), and is now also an approved OSHA trainer.
